AKP Metals & Alloys, founded by the late A.K Poulose in 1896, began its journey as a small-scale workshop operating from the backyard of his residence. Despite its modest beginnings, the company's dedication to craftsmanship and quality allowed it to flourish, paving the way for a legacy that has stood the test of time.
In 1959, A.P. George took the helm of the company, marking a pivotal turning point as we diversified our business to craft steel and aluminium vessels alongside our existing offerings.
In recent years, we at AKP Metals & Alloys have chosen to return to our roots and pay homage to our heritage. We proudly announce that we are revamping our factory to focus solely on traditional bronze utensils. Our inspiration for this revamp came from a chance encounter with a 70-year-old AKP bronze Uruli in an antique shop. From this profound encounter emerged our aspiration to revive the timeless elegance of traditional bronze cookware and utensils, providing a traditional and healthier alternative to chemically treated non-stick coated utensils.
